Pictures

I started this blog to share pictures of my children with my friends and family. I am pretty sure that almost everyone is also friends with me on facebook. Therefore, I will no longer be posting pictures here. If you are not friends with me on facebook, please email me and let me know. Otherwise, check out the pictures on my profile.
Thanks for being interested in my kiddos.

I'm 6 months old...

Kent turned 6 months old yesterday.  He is still the best baby.  He is sweet natured and easy to smile.  He got to try his first solid food today - bananas.  He wasn't overly impressed.  As you can see, he is very loved by his wonderful big sisters.

Snow, Snow, Snow!

We experienced our first (and probably only) snow this weekend in Lubbock.  The girls went out to play for a few minutes and loved it.

Spring Break Fun!!!

We have had Cousins visiting us for Spring Break. We have had so much fun but we kept super busy. We went into Dallas yesterday to see the King Tut exhibit. We thought it would be fun to ride the train. I thought it would involve getting on the train and after an hour, getting off the train. Ummm... we rode three trains, making two transfers with 5 kids under 6 and 2 strollers. THEN, we walked a couple of blocks to the museum. While observing the incredibly long line, we overheard a museum employee mention that they were sold out of tickets until 3pm...make that 4pm. It was 11am!!! We had looked into the suggested idea of buying them online, but we had no idea it would be soooooo busy. Uncle Jon bought tickets online with his phone, we had a leisurely lunch and we found some grass and ladybugs for the kids to play with. THEN, we rode the trains all the way back to the cars.

Today, we used our own vehicles (and we are very grateful for them after yesterday) and went to the Ft. Worth Zoo. It is Spring Break. It was a beautiful day. IT WAS ALSO 1/2 PRICE DAY AT THE ZOO!!!! I can't remember seeing so many people in one place at one time. It was very, very crowded. We hit the highlights: giraffes, lions, tigers, elephants, etc. and then left. (Ok, I admit, I found a spot and nursed Kent and chatted with a sweet older lady and let the others fight the crowds). After lunch, we drove all the way back to Dallas and went to the King Tut museum. Again, lots of people but the exhibit was pretty neat.

I am so grateful to have such sweet nephews. We had Conner and Kahlan and Kent in our car. There was lots of giggling and playing and potty talk. I hope they remember the good times they have together. We are all pretty tired out but had such a fun couple of days. Enjoy the pictures!

Happy kids playing while the grownups figured out what to do...

What's this green stuff???

Wild strawberries in the middle of the city

Ladybugs!

Hhhmmmm....

The crowds at the zoo today. We couldn't believe the tons of people pouring into the zoo even when we were leaving.
Handsome boy!
Another handsome nephew!

Conner wanted to be a Mummy... Kahlan went along with it.

This is how we all feel now :)

We came out of the museum with 3 King Tuts and 2 Cleopatras. Aren't they cute??
